Charles Liu is professor of astronomy at City University of New
York's CSI, director of the Macaulay Honors College
at CSI, and associate at the Hayden Planetarium and American Museum
of Natural History. An extragalactic observational astronomer,
he researches colliding galaxies, starburst galaxies, and the history of the universe.
He is the newly elected Education Officer for the American Astronomical Society
(huzzah!) and a StarTalk Radio All Star.
